Job Description

As a JSM Workflow Developer, you design, develop, and deploy custom workflows and integrations within Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM). You work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, maintainable, and scalable workflow solutions that enhance our IT service processes and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy custom workflows and integrations using Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on the best implementation approaches
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable workflow logic following best practices and internal standards
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Stay current with the latest Atlassian technologies and development best practices to continuously optimize processes and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and debug workflow or integration issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing workflows and integrations for Atlassian products, with a focus on Jira Service Management
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in Node.js and React being a plus
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and webhooks
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality solutions
• Experience with Atlassian Forge development is a strong plus
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is advantageous
