We also understand and appreciate that diversity is a driver of creativity and innovation, which will make our business more competitive, compelling and profitable.”JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:What You'll Do:<ul><li>Investigation of Illicit streaming devices/services and seller/distributor information via forensic tools.</li><li>To assist on required tasks involving website, application, social media/chat applications investigation to obtain data of admins/other parties involved in illicit streaming and proliferation of piracy of Astro’s IPs.</li><li>Assist IP Protection team and Anti-Piracy Engineering team with any ad-hoc tasks required.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:Who You Are:<ul><li>Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Law, Criminology, or Intellectual Property Law.</li><li>Interest in anti-piracy measures and digital IP protection.</li><li>Basic knowledge of streaming technologies (e.g., IPTV, OTT platforms).</li><li>Basic understanding of intellectual property (IP) concepts, especially digital media and piracy.</li><li>Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles related to piracy and streaming.</li><li>Basic knowledge of data privacy and ethical investigation practices.</li><li>Basic understanding of IP-related legal frameworks (preferred, training can be provided).</li><li>Attention to detail for accurate documentation of findings.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset for ad-hoc tasks and adaptability.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.</li><li>Willingness to learn specialised tools for tracking illicit streaming activities.</li></ul>“It's our people that make Astro Malaysia’s leading entertainment company.
