We also understand and appreciate that diversity is a driver of creativity and innovation, which will make our business more competitive, compelling and profitable.”JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:What You'll Do:<ul><li>Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate heavy vehicles such as trailers and trucks safely, following traffic laws and company policies.</li><li>Route Planning &amp; Navigation: Plan the most efficient routes, considering road conditions, height restrictions, and traffic regulations.</li><li>Online Logbook &amp; Documentation: Maintain accurate records of driving hours, fuel usage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to JPJ, SPAD (APAD), and other regulatory body requirements, including licensing and vehicle permits.</li><li>Emergency Handling: Respond to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies by following safety protocols and reporting incidents.</li><li>Expense Tracking: Maintain proper record of claims including parking and toll expenses.</li><li>Customer &amp; Crew Interaction: Coordinate with the production team and logistics crew to ensure timely transportation of equipment and meeting event requirements.</li><li>Vehicle Security &amp; Parking: Ensure the vehicle is securely parked at designated locations when not in use, preventing theft or damage.</li><li>Physical Fitness &amp; Endurance: Ability to handle long driving hours, heavy lifting, and working in varying weather conditions and long hours.</li><li>Broadcast Vehicles &amp; Production Activities: Handle all tasks involving broadcast vehicles and production operations</li><li>Vehicle Inspections: Conduct vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with Puspakom inspection standards and arrange for Puspakom inspection.</li><li>Roster Management: Assist Supervisor or Manager to manage schedules for OB assignments.</li><li>Clerical Work: Assist with administrative tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager of the Logistics Unit when required.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:Who You Are:<ul><li>Education and Experience: Minimum SPM or equivalent with at least 3 years of driving experience.</li><li>Licensing: Possess a Full E Driving license.</li><li>Clean driving record</li><li>Skills: Basic and practical knowledge of vehicle handling and maintenance requirements and knowledge of main routes in Klang Valley and Peninsular Malaysia</li><li>Language Proficiency: Fluency in both oral and written English and Malay.</li><li>Technology Skills: Familiarity with smartphone transport applications and basic computer software skills.</li></ul>“It's our people that make Astro Malaysia’s leading entertainment company.
