JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

 

You collaborate with the CD Asia Head, local entity CISOs and other local stakeholders as necessary to ensure that information security across the local entity is relevant and cost-effective. You serve as a senior security expert and as a security leader to senior management of the entities in the implementation and maintenance of information security.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment to deliver services in the team.
  • Act as a key advisor to local entity senior management (CIO, CRO, Regional CISO) on information security matters (e.g. information risk management, cybersecurity, information security control, monitoring, information privacy, operations, identity access management, security architecture, forensics).
  • Interact with the local CISOs, local Group Operations management, and entities.
  • Act as a leader at the local level to drive information security in terms of assessment, risk appetite, report and promotion in an entity to advise and challenge businesses.
  • Drive cultural and organizational change throughout the regional level and implement a sustainable information security practice.
  • Lead, develop and deploy a portfolio of information security services for the local level.
  • Contribute to the development of the security shared services and ensure implementation of the shared services within the local level.
  • Lead a local security team and act as an example for team members aiming to develop and increase the maturity of the team.

Your Profile

Profile and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • MSc Information Security is a plus
  • Information Security and /or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, GIAC or equivalent) is strongly preferred
  • 10 years’ experience in information security, including 7 in a management role
  • A previous experience managing a remote/international team is preferred
  • Previous experience as interim or acting Chief Information Security Officer, or extensive experience reporting to a CIO, Chief Audit Officer, Chief Risk Officer or other senior executive in an international organization is an asset
