Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Conduct site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions.
- Assist Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in implementing Project Safety & Health Plan.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and site safety inductions.
- Prepare and maintain safety records, checklists, and permit-to-work documentation.
- Report and assist in investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Ensure workers wear correct PPE and follow safe work procedures.
- Support emergency preparedness, drills, and first aid arrangements.
- Maintain safety signage, barricades, and housekeeping at site.
- Comply with OSHA 1994, FMA, and relevant DOSH/CIDB requirements.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science / Health & Safety or equivalent / relevant disciplines.
- Registered as Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with Department Of Occupational Safety & Health, with valid Yellow Book.
- Min 3 years working experience in construction industry.
- Good knowledge of all safety regulation/requirements and industrial best practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill for effective interaction with all parties on site.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety issues promptly.
