Job Summary

As a Junior Barista, staff are responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages in accordance with café standards.

Scope of Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes
• Operate coffee machines, grinders and related equipment correctly
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and quality

Customer Service

• Greet customers politely and take orders accurately
• Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items
• Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally

Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, machines, tools and workstations
• Perform daily opening and closing cleaning duties
• Comply with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards

Stock & Inventory

• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups and bar supplies
• Assist with stock rotation and replenishment
• Report low stock or equipment issues to supervisors

Work Conduct

• Report to work on time and follow assigned schedules
• Adhere to company policies, SOPs and workplace rules
• Maintain professional appearance, teamwork and positive attitude

Food Preparation Support

• Assist with food preparation tasks as instructed
• Follow food safety, hygiene and handling standards at all times
• Support BOH or FOH team with food-related tasks during operations when required

Job Requirements

Start Date: Immediate

Education:

• Minimum: SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia)

Experience:

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu is required.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
