Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Software Project Executive to support the management and execution of website and software-related projects.
 

This role combines elements of client servicing, project coordination, website operations, QA testing, and basic frontend/backend website management. You will act as the bridge between clients and the internal development team, ensuring projects, maintenance tasks, and updates are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
 

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, organisation, problem-solving, and has a strong interest in digital products, websites, and software workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Client & Project Coordination

• Communicate with clients regarding software projects, website updates, maintenance requests, and technical issues
• Gather client requirements and translate them into clear internal briefs or task documentation
• Coordinate with designers, developers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Follow up on project timelines, deliverables, revisions, and approvals
• Assist in preparing project documentation, website briefs, specifications, and meeting notes

Website & Software Operations

• Handle adhoc website updates and content changes via CMS platforms such as WordPress
• Assist with basic frontend/backend website management and troubleshooting
• Support ongoing website maintenance and ensure tasks are tracked properly
• Monitor project progress and prepare status or maintenance reports when required

QA & Testing

• Perform website and system testing across desktop and mobile devices
• Identify, document, and report bugs or UI/UX issues clearly to developers
• Conduct pre-launch checks and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
• Assist in verifying fixes and updates after deployment

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 1–3 years of working experience in software, web, digital, or project coordination environments is an advantage
• Basic understanding of websites, CMS platforms, frontend/backend workflows, and software project processes
• Familiarity with WordPress, HTML/CSS, website management, or basic technical troubleshooting is a plus
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable communicating with both clients and technical teams 

Bonus Skills (Good To Have)

• Experience with project management tools such as Trello, ClickUp, Asana, or Jira
• Basic knowledge of SEO, hosting, domains, or website deployment processes
• Experience preparing software specifications or wireframes
• Understanding of QA testing processes and bug reporting workflows
