Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Drone Instructor (Operations & Training) in Cyberjaya. The Drone Instructor will be responsible for conducting training programs, instructing trainees on drone piloting, aerial photography and many other drone applications. Travelling is required, as the instructor may need to conduct off-site training sessions, attend field demonstrations, or provide on-ground support at client locations across Malaysia. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about drone technology, enjoys teaching, and is adaptable to different working environments.

• Strong interest or experience in Drone Piloting and Education.
• Comfortable or experience in Instructing and Delivering Presentations.
• Familiarity with Drone Technology and Related Software.
• Strong interest or experience in Developing and Delivering Training Programs.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to Work Independently and in a Team Environment.
• Passion for Educating and Promoting Drone Technology Adoption.

A strong understanding of DJI or other drone products and drone safety regulations would be beneficial for the candidate.

Expected responsibilities:

• Take leadership in delivering the best-in-class drone training and education in the classroom and field following the approved training syllabuses.
• Creation of top-quality drone training materials, with an ability to write clear content, contextualised to industry-specific needs.
• Administer declarations, records, and reports demonstrating that the relevant assessments have been carried out.
• Keep updated with the latest drone technology, drone regulations, market trends and training standards.
• Present to and consult with enterprise clients on a regular basis to develop and deliver robust solutions.
• Exhibit strong multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teamwork and coordination between engineers, technicians, trainers, program managers and staff.
