All about the role:
Lead the operational relationship with Logistics suppliers on distribution (B2B and D2C), warehousing and quality areas. Give direct, local support to Sales/CSDP in the field of Logistics. Collect the important information from the market and Sales operation areas that are necessary for proper decision making. Keep under daily control, drive the service level by the Logistics Service Providers, their performance and the planning of related activities.
What you’ll do:
Manage and develop Logistics Suppliers ensuring operational excellence according to the required service and cost level. Daily contact to Logistics Distribution- Warehousing and CSDP Managers.
Check, analyse the service level reports, KPIs and initiate corrective actions to have better quality services for Electrolux customers.
Lead the weekly/monthly follow up calls with CSDP and Logistics Service Providers.
Personally visit Logistics Suppliers and RDC in agreed frequency.
Search for opportunities, initiate cost reduction and efficiency improvement actions.
Supervise the distribution activities in compliance with the established processes and CTS (Cost To Serve) targets agreed with Sales.
Monitor and support the DD flow (from factory to customer) performed by Primary carriers. Participate on related SQUAD weekly calls.
Ensure customer needs (from Sales) are turned into service level agreement for the Suppliers.
Monitor the IT systems and interfaces. React on problems, initiate adjustments.
Ensure full knowledge of local market and legal rules while having a “key-user” level of understanding of our systems (OTM, SAP, others).
Coordinate trainings for 3PLs (safety, quality, handling, others).
Support periodical operational audits in the RDC
Who you are:
Fluent English plus Hungarian language a must.
Experience (3years +) in logistics area of warehousing and transportation.
Ability & agility in driving changes.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
General IT knowledge and experience in MS Office.
Driving license.
Strong team player.
