Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Learn, Understand and Practice Core Concepts: Familiarize yourself with the software tools, platforms, and languages relevant to the organization. Invest time in hands-on learning and training sessions, including tutorials, and eLearning, to gain knowledge about the Group’s automation and software practices.</li>
<li>Assist in Software Development and Automation Tasks: Collaborate with senior developers and engineers to write, test, and debug software code. Support in setting up, configuring, and maintaining automation systems and tools. This may include integrating different software tools or platforms, scripting to automate repetitive tasks, or helping with deployment processes.</li>
<li>Documentation and Reporting: Document processes, configurations, and code for future references and for other team members. Provide regular updates on progress, challenges faced, and solutions applied to mentors or team leads.</li>
<li>Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with different departments and teams to understand their software and automation needs. Actively seek feedback and clarifications, ensuring effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Experiment with emerging technologies, tool, and methodologies in software and automation. Share insights and findings with the team, suggesting potential areas for implementation or improvements.</li>
<li>Conversion Project and Presentation: You will be required to undertake a Conversion Project as a key component of this program. This project will provide an opportunity for apprentices to apply the skills and knowledge they've gained throughout the program. The conversion project will challenge you to translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications by tackling real-world issues and problem statements in the field of software and automation. Through the Conversion Project, candidates will gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation.</li>
