Role Purpose
Edit compelling, high-performing video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube (Short & Long-form) and event highlights, optimised for engagement, retention, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for:
- Social media reels
- Campaign content
- Event highlights & recaps
- KOL & creator content
- Apply strong pacing, hooks, transitions, subtitles, and sound design.
- Ensure videos meet platform specifications and trends.
Social-First Optimisation
- Craft edits that maximise:
- First 3-second hook
- Watch-through rate
- Shareability & saves
- Adapt content into multiple cut-downs and formats.
- Apply captions, on-screen text, emojis, and callouts where relevant.
Brand & Content Consistency
- Maintain brand tone, colour, and visual identity across all videos.
- Apply consistent subtitle styles, fonts, and motion elements.
- Ensure compliance with campaign guidelines and messaging.
Workflow & Collaboration
- Work closely with Video Producers, Social Media Managers, and Marketing teams.
- Deliver edits within tight timelines, especially for events and trending content.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and efficiently.
KPIs
- Content turnaround time
- Engagement metrics (views, retention, shares)
- Editing accuracy and revision efficiency
- Volume of output per week/month
