Duties & Responsibilities
• Technical integrity & reliability maintenance and assurance on for all the static equipment in the LRCC/HIJAU/HMU/E4M area.
• Long- and medium-term Strategic planning and development for the maintenance of LRCC/HIJAU/HMU/E4M equipment e.g. AMS/MRP.
• Implementation of adequate Reliability activities and standards to ensure delivery of the domestic requirement of finished products at all times.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause & failure analysis and performed 5-WHY’S. Establish and update equipment maintenance policies for strategic planning purposes.
• Provide support in static equipment maintenance during Plant Turnaround & Shutdown.
• Provide support and technical advice during execution of field static equipment maintenance/project activities, such that integrity and reliability standards requirements are adhered to & met for the Refinery.
• Responsible as a discipline TA3 as per DCAF for variation control on all low-risk actions, to provide technical guidance as well as quality assurance to the maintenance and projects organizations, and to manage the static and civil/structural equipment engineering activities such that the integrity and reliability as well as performance standards are met in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure availability of critical spare for critical static equipment. Alignment on assets static equipment spares identification philosophies and standardization in line with corporate strategies.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Deliver technically sound solutions to equipment issues and ensuring that the design meets company’s technical standards.
• Ensure that all technical changes are managed in line with company’s management of change (MOC) process.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance to company’s technical standards, monitoring performance and safeguard integrity management in Refinery.
• Develop and implement policies and management strategies for static equipment in order to meet the overall Refinery business objectives and targets.
• Develop, endorse and monitor the Refinery’s static equipment maintenance and inspection to ensure equipment integrity & reliability.
• Manage & maintain the Refinery static equipment documentation.
• Provide support to static equipment inspection activities. Provide advice on corrective actions including projects and causal investigations.
• Provide support to the management of HSSE, reputation management and sustainable development aspects relating to the Refinery’s static equipment inspection, quality, integrity & reliability activities.
• Contribute, maintain and continuously improve on the Refinery’s Quality & Environmental Management Systems relating to the Refinery’s static equipment.
• Maintain and improve relations and communication with all the Refinery's internal and external stakeholders with regards to the QA/QC & management of the Refinery’s static equipment.
• Contribute to the management of planning, implementation and performance monitoring of the Refinery’s static equipment, as well as the relevant KPI’s.
• As a Company Site Representative, responsible for the management & supervision of static equipment inspection & engineering related contracts, conforming to appropriate technical standards and relevant business principles.
• To be in the Logistics Coordinator Duty Call out team.
• Assure desired repair options will provide the required reliability. Identify and consider alternative approaches.
• Define the Refinery’s static equipment Preventive Maintenance strategy.
• This is a HSE critical position which has the responsibility to implement the HSE case bow tie barriers (controls and recovery measures). Refer to HSE case bow tie documentation.
• Maintain HSE competency through knowledge and understanding of HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Review history and close out schedules in Inspection Management System (w-IMS) module.
• Maintain HSE competency through knowledge and understanding of HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Review and audit work performed by subordinates and ensure it meets the job purpose
• Ensure all temporary changes are tracked and timely rectified
• Evaluate and plan NDT works
• Perform audit on inspection on static assets in the refinery to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications
• Act as company site representative for inspection related contract relevant to LRCC/HIJAU/HMU/E4M
• Plan execution of asset integrity related initiatives such as Sulphidic corrosion, dead legs and injection point

• Provide specialist advice and services to ensure that the line functions can effectively manage the LRCC/HIJAU/HMU/E4M assets to meet the AI objectives.
• Support the delivery of refinery major Turnaround shutdowns for maintenance of static equipment with the aim of assuring its technical Integrity & reliability.
• Provide static maintenance input to projects development, construction and commissioning.
• Act as Technical Authority Level 3 for Refinery static equipment and responsible for variation control on all low risk actions G-FSR.
• Act as Liaison between company and jurisdiction (JKKP) in matters concerning asset integrity and static assets.
