Job Description

    • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Respond promptly to outdoor sales’ client inquiries, providing accurate and tailored logistics solutions.
    • Handle follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
    • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels.
    • Prepare and present quotations, pricing proposals, and service agreements.
    • Negotiate terms with clients to achieve profitable sales outcomes.
    • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless shipment handling.
    • Oversee the preparation of necessary documents such as shipping schedules, and customs forms.
    • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to the sales manager.
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
    • Provide clients with updates and advice on best practices for shipment handling and cost optimization.
    • Cold calling to potential clients or customers via phone to generate interest and leads.

Job Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
    • 1-3 years of sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
    • Familiarity with logistics services (freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance, etc.) is an advantage.
    • Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Highly motivated, independent, and results-driven.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
    • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations is a plus.
    • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
