Job Description

Customer Service:

 

Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders, and assist with menu selections. Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Order Taking and Processing:

 

Accurately input customer orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system, communicate orders to the kitchen or bar, and process payments.

 

Food and Beverage Service:

 

Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring correct items are delivered and presented according to restaurant standards.

 

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

 

Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables, cleaning chairs, and keeping the floors free from debris. Ensure that service areas are organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

 

Kitchen Support:

 

Assist with food preparation and assembly, such as preparing condiments, assembling trays or meal boxes, and refilling supplies as needed.

 

Handling Customer Complaints:

 

Address any customer complaints or concerns professionally and calmly. Escalate issues to a supervisor or manager when necessary.

 

Cash Handling:

 

Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly. Provide correct change to customers and follow cash handling procedures.

 

Team Collaboration: 

 

Work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff and other service crew, to ensure efficient restaurant operations.

 

Stock and Inventory Management:

 

Assist with monitoring stock levels for supplies like napkins, condiments, and utensils, and notify supervisors when stock needs to be replenished.

 

Health and Safety Compliance: 

 

Follow food safety standards and health regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.

 

Supporting Promotions and Sales:

 

Promote special offers, new menu items, or discounts to customers, encouraging upselling when appropriate.

 

Maintaining a Positive Attitude:

 

Ensure a positive and friendly attitude, especially when interacting with customers, to enhance their overall experience.


Job Requirements

Requirements:
     
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  •  
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  •  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  •  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  •  
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is a plus.
  •  
  • Availability to work shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  •
