Job Description

JoJo’s Journey is a premium English coaching and literacy center in Mont Kiara, working with expat and local families. We run reading clubs, story-based camps, and English coaching for kids aged 4–12 and adults. Our team is small, international, and close-knit: native English-speaking and Malaysian coaches working side by side.

We’re looking for someone who keeps the center running smoothly behind the scenes, so our coaches can focus on teaching and families feel welcome the moment they walk in.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome students and parents, answer walk-in and WhatsApp questions
  • Support teachers with class setup, materials, and cleanup
  • Organize our leveled reading library: sort books, keep shelves tidy, track check-in/check-out
  • Manage student files and keep records organized and confidential
  • Collect and sort receipts, track supplies, and help with simple finance records
  • Help with class scheduling and day-to-day admin
  • Prepare snacks for students and keep the center clean and organized
  • Run small errands when needed

Who We’re Looking For

  • Reliable and responsible. You show up on time and follow through.
  • Organized and detail-oriented. You notice when something is out of place.
  • Comfortable around children and friendly with parents
  • Good communication in English (Malay, Mandarin, or Korean is a bonus)
  • Takes initiative and isn’t afraid to suggest better ways of doing things
  • Students or fresh graduates welcome, especially in education, business, or admin

What You’ll Get

  • Free meals during your shift
  • Flexible scheduling around your classes
  • Real working experience in a growing education business
  • Mentorship directly from the founder
  • Letter of recommendation upon completion
  • A clear path forward: strong interns are evaluated at 3 months for a full-time role

JoJo’s Journey

Our founder, Jodrey Jo, spent years working inside other people’s systems: hotels in Australia, cabin crew for international airlines, government interpreting, and network marketing. Along the way, families kept asking her for help with English, first with translation, then tutoring. One family told another, and slowly those small sessions grew into something bigger. That’s how JoJo’s Journey was born in Mont Kiara:...
