You will also work cross-functionally to optimize end-to-end tax processes and support business operations.</p> </div> <div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key responsibilities</b></h2> </div><div><p><b>Tax Compliance &amp; Reporting</b></p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review VAT/GST/sales tax returns and reconciliations.</li> <li>Ensure indirect tax rules are correctly applied to master data.</li> <li>Manage tax debtor reports and compliance timetables.</li> <li>Assist in tax audits, ensuring accurate and timely data submission.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Process Optimization &amp; System Management</b></p> <ul> <li>Identify and implement process improvements across tax functions.</li> <li>Support the rollout of SAP and other tax-related systems.</li> <li>Work with finance, supply chain, and IT to optimize end-to-end tax processes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Team Leadership &amp; Stakeholder Collaboration</b></p> <ul> <li>Supervise Indirect Tax Analysts, providing guidance on reporting and compliance.</li> <li>Conduct internal training to enhance tax knowledge and system expertise.</li> <li>Collaborate with business partners to resolve tax queries and enhance compliance.</li> </ul> </div> <div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications and skills</b></h2> </div><div><ul> <li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in indirect tax compliance, preferably in an MNC or Big Four environment.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of VAT/GST/sales tax regulations.</li> <li>Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).</li> <li>Experience with PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, and Visio for reporting and documentation.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize tax processes.</li> <li>Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).</li> <li>Ability to travel internationally when required.</li> </ul> </div></p>
