Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor who understands how to turn content into conversions. You’ll be responsible for editing short-form videos that are engaging, trend-driven, and optimized for social media platforms. 

• Edit high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Xiaohongshu 
• Transform raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping content 
• Apply storytelling techniques, pacing, and hooks to maximize retention 
• Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, and transitions 
• Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats 
• Collaborate with content creators, KOLs, and internal teams 
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and deadlines

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years experience with a proven portfolio in short-form content (TikTok/Reels/XHS-style required) 
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut 
• Strong AI knowledge and hands-on usage is REQUIRED (e.g. Runway ML, ChatGPT, AI captioning, auto-editing, voiceover tools) 
• Proven ability to create high-retention, conversion-driven videos (hooks, pacing, storytelling, subtitles) 
• Able to handle high-volume output under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, agency environment 
• Understands and edits based on performance metrics (watch time, retention rate, CTR)
