About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Product team. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data systems that power analytics, automation, and decision-making across the business. Beyond traditional data engineering, you’ll also contribute to developing internal data tools, tracking & monitoring systems, and automating & optimizing decision-making apparatus that directly support our fintech operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

•  Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that collect, transform, and deliver data reliably across multiple systems.
•  Work with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift) to enable scalable and secure data infrastructure.
•  Develop and optimize orchestrated ETL/ELT workflows for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
•  Build and maintain internal data applications, algorithms, and automated optimized decision-making systems
•  Support BI and analytics initiatives by delivering consistent, high-quality data to dashboards and analytical models.
•  Collaborate cross-functionally with Product & Project Managers, Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
•  Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance across the entire data lifecycle.
•  Monitor, document, and continuously improve the data stack and related workflows.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

•  3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
•  Strong proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python.
•  Proven experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
•  Practical understanding of data modeling, APIs, and automation workflows.
•  Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
•  Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, etc.).
•  Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design data-driven tools and systems beyond standard ETL tasks.
•  Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience with software engineering practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
•  Familiarity with a fast-paced development environment and agile project management, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and using tools such as Jira or Trello.
•  Proven experience as a Data Engineer or working closely with product teams to shape data products and solutions.
•  Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional collaboration.
