Job Description

• To manage a team of staffs and liaise with people at all levels in the group.
• Fully responsible of accounts department, timely preparation and analysis of management reports, cash flow management, preparing budget, credit control function, risk management and liaising with lawyer, auditors, tax agent and relevant authorities.
• Liaise with bankers for banking facilities and related matters.
• Implementation of internal controls and process improvements within accounting & operational processes.
• Ensure compliances with Accounting Standards, statutory reporting, taxation, legislative requirements, and any local authorities
• To undertake any special projects/assignments assigned

Job Requirements

•  Accounting Degree / Professional Accountancy qualification, member of MIA /ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 5 – 7 years working experience in trading / retail /service environment, experience in supervising a team of staff is required.
• Has experience in dealing with SST, E-invoice, stamp duty, RPT etc with local authorities is an added advantage
• Well versed in computerized accounting systems (eg Sage 300), good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Words
• A team player who is dynamic with mature personality, independent and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
• To communicate with all level of department heads for supporting roles
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to interpret data, spot errors etc
