 We’re looking for highly motivated Software Engineer (Database) who are passionate about the art and science of software development, possess a strong can-do attitude, and want to be part of a world-class team with a passion for excellence. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a loosely structured organization and be capable of working on a number of assignments in parallel.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for SQL queries optimisation, SQL statements analysis, parsing and tuning across multiple databases.

* Participate in designing and developing of data access services to fullfil critical business requirements in a global team. May involve working with low-level API.

* Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

* 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in database development, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.

* Good understanding of software architecture, programming practices

* Working knowledge of DBMS and SQLStrong understanding of database design principles.

* Strong experience in performance tuning of SQL queries and optimization techniques

* Strong C/C++ programming skills is required.

* Experience in network and communication protocols such as TCP/TLS/socket, and experience in high concurrency server development is a plus

* Strong OOP skill and Knowledge/Experience OOD.

* Experience in Linux or Windows.

* Familiar with debugging tools (e.g., Linux GDB and Windbg)

* Knowledge product quality awareness.

* Proactive and good attitude.
