Job Description

  1. Maintain and build rapport with existing, potential and new modern trade accounts to grow sales towards and beyond the given target through new account openings, new product listing, promotion schemes, shelf presence, display locations, etc.
  2. Create attractive promotions to boost sales and build brand awareness to meet business targets.
  3. Lead the development and execution of in-store and on-shelf marketing, including point-of-sale materials and merchandising displays, to solidify the company’s market position.
  4. Conduct regular trade visits to check and ensure the store’s inventory, including the area available for display to identify opportunities to increase sales with each assigned modern trade account.
  5. Track, monitor and analyze products performance, the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns and account sales trends to identify sales opportunities and achieve desired sales results.
  6. Conduct regular reviews with accounts on different aspects of the business to identify gaps and plan for execution. 
  7. Responsible for all receivables, monitoring account receivable aging and ensuring timely collections.
  8. Ensure alignment across sales and marketing teams to maintain strong communication and effective execution of programs at trade.
  9. Lead the development of subordinates in delivering the overall business objectives with assigned accounts.
  10. Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

  1. Possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
  2. Have at least 2-4 years of experience in key account in FMCG MT channel. Experience in Snacks & Confectionery is an added advantage.
  3. Skills: customer service, management, strategy planning and selling, negotiation and leadership.
  4. Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. An independent, high motivated individual who is willing to take initiative and follow up with details.
  6. Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  7. Proactive passionate for results, creative solutions, innovation with a thirst for fresh knowledge and experience.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  9. Possess own transport and willing to travel.
