Job Description

1. Full Set Accounting & Closing

• Handle full set of accounts independently, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation 
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes accurately and on time
  

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports 
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making
  

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts 
• Perform variance analysis and identify areas for improvement
  

4. Cash Flow & Cost Control

• Monitor and manage company cash flow and working capital 
• Support cost control initiatives and improve financial efficiency
  

5. Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and e-invoicing requirements
  

6. Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Support or supervise junior team members where applicable 
• Identify and implement process improvements or system enhancements 

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience 
• Proven experience handling full set of accounts independently 
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL) 
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

• Experience in team supervision or leadership 
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (AutoCount, SQL, etc.) 
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and e-invoicing 
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis 
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or currently pursuing 
• Experience in process improvement or automation initiatives 
• Proficient in Mandarin (for business communication)
