<p>We are looking for a <strong>System Engineer</strong> to join our team on a <strong>1-year contract</strong> for a highly capable System Engineer (Infrastructure) to support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of highly available infrastructure for government and telco-related projects. The role involves working in a high-availability, multi-site environment with hybrid cloud and on-premise components.</p>
<p>You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing infrastructure components such as Linux servers, DNS, Kubernetes, HAProxy, Postfix, and backup systems, supporting critical systems and ensuring infrastructure resilience and security.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure across multiple environments (on-premise and cloud).</li>
<li>Manage DNS infrastructure, including BIND, DNSSEC, zone file management, and integration with APIs.</li>
<li>Operate and support containerized environments using Kubernetes (K3s) and ingress solutions such as HAProxy or Traefik.</li>
<li>Enforce infrastructure hardening and patching compliance (CIS benchmark, ISO standards).</li>
<li>Coordinate and maintain HA/DR across dual-site architectures.</li>
<li>Plan and execute backup strategies for application data, configuration files, logs, and platform states.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain infrastructure documentation, operational SOPs, and network diagrams.</li>
<li>Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and support teams to meet project timelines and uptime SLAs.</li>
</ul>
