We are seeking a junior PHP Developer to join our web development team. In this role, you will focus on both developing new web applications and maintaining and enhancing existing ones. Your main goals will be to ensure robustness, efficiency, and alignment of our web applications with our strategic business objectives. You will be guided and mentored by a senior web developer, ensuring you have the support needed to grow your skills and deliver quality work.

This position is open to Malaysian applicants only.

• Develop New and Enhance Existing Web Applications: Develop new web applications from the ground up and enhance existing ones. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Requirements Gathering and Specification Refinement: Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, refine specifications, and ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with other PHP developers and mobile application developers to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions that support the company’s overall strategy.
• Documentation and Testing: Create and maintain detailed software documentation. Conduct comprehensive testing and fine-tuning of applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Ongoing Support and Enhancement:Provide support for existing applications, implementing enhancements to improve functionality and resolve issues.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Any experience in PHP development or working with the Laravel Framework will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of PHP, Laravel, and front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Node.js, and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git version control and Docker containers will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Good command of English and able to work well in a team environment.
• A portfolio of past projects (including academic or personal projects) is highly encouraged
