Job Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining internal web applications and automation tools to support business operations. This role focuses on improving efficiency by digitalizing manual processes, building internal systems, and collecting data for business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web-based systems to support company operations.
• Develop and enhance internal platforms such as:
• COT Web Ordering System to streamline store ordering processes.
• Store Nice Label Interface for product labelling and printing.
• Finance P&L Dashboard to monitor profit and loss performance.
• Finance OPEX Analysis Tool to track and analyse operational expenses.

System Automation & Digitalization

• Convert manual or paper-based workflows into automated web-based systems.
• Improve operational efficiency by simplifying internal processes.
• Implement digital approval workflows and automated notifications.

Data Collection & Web Scraping

• Develop scripts and tools to collect external data for business analysis.
• Gather and process data such as:
• Weather forecasts and historical weather data to support sales forecasting.
• Malaysia public holiday calendars to assist with operational planning and manpower allocation.

System Integration & Data Management

• Develop and manage API integrations between systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, and proper data transformation for reporting and analysis.

Security & System Performance

• Ensure secure data transmission and protection using encryption methods such as AES and hash algorithms.
• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues to maintain reliability.

Collaboration with Business Units

• Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Business Units (BU), and Operations to understand system requirements.
• Provide technical solutions to improve business operations and reporting.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Experience in API development and integration, Advanced SQL queries, Python ETL process flow, Web hosting and web scraping
• Familiar with PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and database management.
• Knowledge of web hosting, automation, and data scraping is an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
