Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Shoe Cleaning & Customer Service Crew to join ShoeMo Penang.

Your responsibilities:

• 👟 Attend to customers and handle enquiries 
• 📋 Receive shoes, register orders and take photos 
• 💬 Understand customer needs and provide basic shoe-care advice 
• 🧼 Clean and care for shoes according to our procedures 
• 👟 Learn about different shoe materials and cleaning methods 
• 🔍 Perform basic quality checks before returning shoes 
• 🏪 Assist with daily shop operations 
• 🧹 Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the shop 
• 📚 Learn to handle the shop independently after training 

Salary & Benefits:

• 💰 RM1,800 basic salary/month 
• 💵 Monthly performance bonus up to RM700 
• 🧾 EPF / SOCSO / EIS 
• 🌴 12 days annual leave 
• 📅 5 working days per week 
• 🔄 Rotating off days

Working arrangement:

• 🏪 Shop operates 7 days a week 
• 👤 Employee works 5 days per week 
• 🔄 Off days are on a rotating basis 
• ⏳ 3 months probation 
• 📈 Salary review may be considered based on performance and ability to handle shop operations independently

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• 🇲🇾 Malaysian citizens only 
• 💬 Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia 
• 🀄 Mandarin / Chinese dialects are an advantage 
• 😊 Comfortable dealing with customers 
• 💪 Responsible, careful and willing to learn 
• 💦 Not afraid of water and dirt.
• 👞 Must be comfortable handling and cleaning pigskin shoes 
• 👟 Previous shoe-cleaning experience is not required 
• 🛍️ Retail / customer service experience is an advantage
