RM 3500 - RM 6000

IOI Boulevard, Puchong, Selangor

Job Description

 The Problem

At Sigma School, we change lives by helping people break into tech. But right now, we face three big problems:

  1. Leads go cold. Too many people reach out, then never hear back quickly enough or get stuck in a messy admissions process.

  2. Students drop off early. Even after enrolling, some students feel lost or unsupported during onboarding, leading to lower engagement and outcomes.

  3. No clear feedback loop. We don’t always know why students say yes or no, or why some succeed while others struggle.

If we don’t fix these pains, we lose not just revenue — but the chance to transform careers.

The Role

We need an Admissions & Student Success Specialist to own the entire front half of the student journey: from the moment a prospect shows interest, to enrolling them, to making sure their first weeks are smooth and motivating.

You’ll be the bridge between marketing and student success, ensuring every prospective student feels guided, supported, and confident in their decision.

What You’ll Do

  • Admissions & Calls → Respond to inquiries fast, conduct admissions calls, explain our programs/outcomes, and help students make informed decisions.

  • Onboarding → Guide new students through orientation, ensure they know expectations, schedules, and support systems.

  • Follow-Ups & Retention → Stay in touch with students after they enroll, monitor engagement, and intervene early if they go quiet.

  • System Building → Create call scripts, onboarding guides, FAQs, and feedback loops so the process becomes repeatable and scalable.

  • Feedback & Reporting → Track why students drop off, what objections they have, and suggest improvements.

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)

  • Lead response time reduced to <2 hours.

  • Enrollment conversion rate improvements.

  • Student onboarding satisfaction measurably higher (fewer early dropouts).

  • At least one new admissions or success system built (e.g., FAQ, script, onboarding checklist).

  • Clear monthly reporting on drop-offs, objections, and feedback.

Who You Are

  • You care deeply about students and see sales as guidance, not just numbers.

  • You’re organized and systematic — you don’t let leads or students slip through cracks.

  • You’re a strong communicator, empathetic listener, and comfortable on calls.

  • You learn fast and are curious about tech, coding, and career transitions.

  • Bonus: you’ve worked in education, admissions, or student success before.

Do Not Join If…

  • You only see this as a “sales job” and don’t care about student outcomes.

  • You get defensive when asked to improve or adapt your process.

  • You prefer to just follow instructions instead of building better systems.

  • You dislike speaking directly with people (calls, follow-ups, support).

  • You want a slow, predictable job — this role requires speed and initiative.

Why Join Sigma School?

  • Mission-driven work: every enrollment = a career transformed.

  • Growth opportunities: you’ll shape our admissions and student success systems from the ground up.

  • Compensation: competitive base salary + performance-based incentives.

  • Culture: ambitious, fast-moving, and focused on results with heart.

Job Requirements

 Must-Haves

  • Strong communicator — you’re confident on calls and can listen deeply to students’ fears, goals, and objections.

  • Organized and detail-oriented — you don’t let leads or students slip through the cracks.

  • Empathetic — you genuinely care about guiding students into the right decision, not just closing sales.

  • Comfortable balancing sales with student success — you can advise, persuade, and follow through.

  • Fast learner — you’ll pick up our curriculum, outcomes, and tech career pathways quickly.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in admissions, student success, education, or bootcamps.

  • Some background or interest in tech/coding — so you can connect with students authentically.

  • Experience using CRMs, student management systems, or sales tools.

  • Track record of building resources like call scripts, FAQs, or onboarding guides.

We started Sigma School because we believe that the current education system is broken. Students are struggling to get jobs and struggling to pay back their student loans, yet employers are still struggling to hire good talents. There is a massive, growing tech talent-skill mismatch in the world right now and almost ALL educators are not held accountable to help their students secure jobs. They simply have no...
