About Sigmaschool

This role is for interns who want to grow not only as engineers, but also as mentors and educators. You will contribute to both product development and student learning experience.

What You Will Work On

Engineering Work

  • Building and improving features for our learning portal and internal systems
  • Fixing bugs, improving performance, and refactoring existing code
  • Supporting automation and tooling for instructors and operations teams
  • Working with frontend and backend code under senior guidance
     

Tech stack exposure may include:

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • React / Next.js
  • Node.js / Express
  • Databases (Postgres / Supabase or similar)
     

Teaching & Instructor Support

  • Assisting instructors during live classes and workshops
  • Helping students with coding questions, debugging, and assignments
  • Running small group sessions, code reviews, or lab support
  • Supporting onboarding and learning activities for new students
  • Helping improve curriculum materials and exercises based on student feedback

Job Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or strong self-taught background)
  • Comfortable with basic web development and programming fundamentals
  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently
  • Enjoys helping others learn and improve
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to follow through on tasks
  • You don’t need to know everything. But you must be willing to learn fast and take responsibility.
