Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in project management preferably with more than 3 years of managing an IT project and about 5 years in the IT or Banking/Fintech Industry. The individual must have the ability to lead and manage a project. Banking or Finance related experience is a plus.

What you will do

• Manage and lead projects assigned by the Project Director.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of project.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Understanding of all project management methodologies.
• Ability to monitor completion and deliver projects on time.
• Developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management by eliminating blockers and to minimize potential project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in examples Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Meeting minutes, Progress Reports, and Project Closure documents.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, Master’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is an advantage

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and the ability to work independently. 
• At least 4-5 years of working experience in the IT or Banking/Fintech industry.
• Preferably with more than 3 years of intensive working experience in Project Management.
• Preferably have a reasonable technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and/or web technologies.
• Professional certification in PMP/CAPM/PRINCE2 will be a plus point.
• Good client-facing and communication skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Proven ability in problem-solving, budget and risk management.
• Motivation and team management.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
