Job Description

A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects. Their primary role is to ensure that projects are completed within the approved budget while maintaining quality and compliance with legal and contractual requirements. 

• To study construction drawings and work on quotation to customers.
• To do cost estimates on materials needed, labour cost, and other costs for a project..
• To monitor project timeline, material consumptions and wastages everyday                          
• Assist Project Manager and Operation Manager in hiring or procuring subcontractors and suppliers based on the presented budget.
• Liaising with Project Manager, Site Supervisor and other necessary people to ensure the project follows to the timeline.
• Occasionally required to plan to site visit and research for future projects together with Project Team
•  Responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on progress claims according to the project schedule and completed work. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design or renovation industry.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and project management.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Well familiar in using Microsoft Office tools.
