<p>We are seeking a highly skilled <strong>Senior Node.js Developer</strong> to join our engineering team. This opportunity is open to <strong>Malaysian candidates only</strong>. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and responsiveness across both frontend and backend systems.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Define solution design and system architecture for customer-facing and backend applications.</li>
<li>Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and low-latency systems for mission-critical applications.</li>
<li>Translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive technology strategy alignment.</li>
<li>Develop end-to-end solutions across mobile/client, backend services, and databases (including APIs and stored procedures).</li>
<li>Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and agile practices.</li>
<li>Write and maintain technical documentation, including architecture and API documentation.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to ensure stability and performance.</li>
<li>Manage system monitoring, production support, release management, and application security.</li>

<li><strong>8+ years </strong>of hands-on software engineering experience in Agile environments.</li>
<li>Strong leadership experience as a player-coach engineering lead.</li>
<li>6+ years of experience in <strong>Node.js</strong> for REST APIs and microservices.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in microservices, event-driven, and distributed system architecture.</li>
<li>Extensive <strong>AWS experience </strong>(Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).</li>
<li>Strong experience in serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of system design principles focused on scalability, reliability, and performance (NFRs).</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of <strong>SQL and NoSQL databases</strong>, including schema design and performance tuning.</li>
<li>Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.</li>
<li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, WebSockets).</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.</li>
