Job Description

Tapway is redefining how physical spaces operate using AI Vision and Big Data. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in developing, supporting, or delivering solutions that run across edge devices, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise environments.

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of Tapway’s software solutions.
• Mentor and guide software engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, AI, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Make strategic technical decisions to address complex challenges and ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Review and maintain software architecture, technical documentation, and development standards.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies in AI, IoT, and Cloud to enhance Tapway’s platform.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the software architecture for scalable, secure, and high-availability systems
• Lead design of microservices, cloud-native, and distributed systems
• Ensure best practices in coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimization
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps engineers
• Plan sprint roadmaps, allocate resources, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering excellence
• Oversee development of AI SaaS platform, APIs, dashboards, and orchestration systems
• Collaborate closely with Product, AI, QA, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Drive CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, and system reliability practices
• Ensure compliance with data security, access control, and privacy requirements
• Optimize platform performance, uptime, and cost efficiency
• Work closely with management, sales, and operations teams on technical feasibility and delivery planning

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with 3+ years in a technical leadership or lead role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Backend development (e.g. Node.js, Java, Python, Go)
• Frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular)
• Microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, system scalability, and security best practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bonus skills:
• Experience in AI/ML product platforms or computer vision systems
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams at scale
