As a Finance & HR Intern, you will gain meaningful, hands-on exposure to the heart of a growing business, from finance operations, cash flow, reporting and compliance to recruitment, payroll, employee records and people processes.

This role is perfect for someone who is curious, organised, responsible, and eager to learn how strong financial discipline and thoughtful people management work together to support business growth. You will work closely with the CFO to contribute to real day-to-day operations and build practical skills that will prepare you for your future career.

Your Responsibilities will be:

1. Supporting the day-to-day finance operations by helping with accounting entries, invoices, payments, claims and accurate record-keeping. 
2. Assisting in preparing clear and useful finance reports, including cash flow summaries, expense trackers and management schedules. 
3. Being part of the people journey by supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave tracking and HR documentation. 
4. Helping with payroll and compliance preparation by compiling relevant employee information and maintaining organised finance and HR files. 
5. Working closely with the team to improve simple, practical workflows, including templates, trackers, SOPs and internal processes that help the business run better. 

Job Requirements

We are seeking an individual who:

• Is currently enrolled in a Diploma or Degree program in:
• Accounting
• Finance
• Business Administration
• Human Resource Management
• Psychology
• Economics
• Management
• Or any related discipline
  
• Is passionate about both numbers and people - No need for extensive knowledge at this stage, but a genuine curiosity about how finance and HR contribute to business development is essential.
  
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organisation - Capable of managing documents, numbers, records and deadlines meticulously.
  
• Is proficient with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets - Basic familiarity with spreadsheets is advantageous and a willingness to learn about formulas, trackers and basic reporting tools is a bonus.
  
• Exhibits effective communication skills - Can engage respectfully and professionally with colleagues, candidates, vendors and team members.
  
• Is reliable and trustworthy - Able to manage sensitive finance and HR information with discretion and professionalism.
  
• Is proactive and eager to learn - We appreciate interns who ask questions, take initiative and are receptive to feedback.
  
• Can work both independently and within a team - Should be comfortable taking responsibility for assigned tasks while also collaborating with others.
  
• Maintains a positive work attitude - Someone who is dependable, humble, enthusiastic and ready to develop.
