Job Description

• Run the floor during your shift — open and close the venue to checklist, hold standards across the space, and be the person who makes the call when something goes wrong
• Coordinate part-time crew and external vendors — brief them ahead of each event, assign sections, and check the work before guests arrive
• Run the coffee bar to a consistent standard, and train and correct junior and casual staff on drinks, service and cleanliness
• Own bar operations: stock ordering, supplier liaison, stock counts, wastage control and equipment care
• Host event clients, coworking members and walk-ins, and lead event days end to end — setup, beverage service, issues on the floor, teardown
• Handle day-to-day admin — enquiries, scheduling, documentation and record-keeping

Job Requirements

• 2+ years in F&B, café or hospitality, including experience running a shift unsupervised
• Solid barista fundamentals — consistent espresso extraction and milk texturing
• Experience directing part-time or casual staff, and comfortable holding people to a standard
• Careful and accurate with numbers, stock and written communication
• Able to work independently and follow established processes
• Available for shift work including some evenings and weekends
