 Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate various divisions within infrastructure administration (including System Administration, Network Administration and Database Administration) in their daily operational requests and activities.
• Manage and monitor existing systems and infrastructure.
• Participate in planning and discussions regarding new and upcoming projects related to IT infrastructure.
• Streamline, design, enhance, and standardize existing systems.
• Identify potential risks or issues and provide troubleshooting and solutions.
• Explore new solutions and technologies to support or enhance existing deployed infrastructure.
• Report to Infrastructure management as part of the reporting hierarchy.
• Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by Infrastructure management.
• Ability to work in standby mode 24x7 with defined job rosters for any escalation raised.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, systems (AD,DNS,RAID array), Wintel, SSL/TLS Certificate and Linux concepts.
• Strong in scripting PowerShell, Bash (Linux), and Windows batch files
• Minimum 3 years of experience in deploying and administering Windows; Linux OS both on premise or virtualization (Nutanix/Hyper-V/VMWare) and cloud (AWS/Azure) environments in enterprise-level environments.
• Windows Server Clustering: Experience in setting up and managing Windows Server Failover Clustering for load balancing, high availability and fault tolerance of critical services.
• Disaster Recovery and Backup: Experience in implementing and managing backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and quick recovery in case of system failures.
• Networking Protocols and Services: Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, routing, and firewall configurations to troubleshoot network-related issues and maintain secure communication.
• Results-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Relevant working experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Experience with Fortigate, Nutanix, Windows Servers, cloud computing such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases is a plus.
• Positive attitude and a team-first mentality.
• Must be able to work onsite at the datacenter with short notice, including during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
