Job Description

Role Overview :  

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the sales team in achieving business targets and driving revenue growth. This role is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring excellent customer relationships. Working closely with the Sales Manager, the Assistant Sales Manager helps coordinate daily sales activities, provide coaching and guidance to the team, and identify opportunities to expand market presence. The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills to contribute to both short-term sales goals and long-term business growth. 

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential clients.
  • Engage and build relationships with decision-makers to understand hiring and workforce needs.
  • Pitch and position Troopers’ solutions as value-driven services tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Close deals and secure contracts, driving revenue growth and achieving assigned targets.
  • Liaise with internal teams (operations, recruitment, finance, account management) to ensure smooth project delivery post-sale.
  • Manage client expectations by providing clear communication and ensuring commitments are met.
  • Track, report, and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely updates to management.
  • Be accountable for revenue performance, client acquisition, and overall business growth within assigned markets or sectors.

Job Requirements

 Qualifications:  

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (B2B experience preferred).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and able to work under pressure to achieve results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a client-centric mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, recruitment).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is an advantage.
  • For Senior Executive: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales experience, with a track record of managing larger clients or more complex negotiations.
