Role Overview :

As the Business Analyst (BA) at TROOPERS, you will play a critical role in ensuring that new features and platforms deliver real value to users while meeting technical feasibility standards. You’ll be responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements, validating user journeys, and ensuring system interdependencies are identified and accounted for.

Unlike traditional BAs, this role requires a strong foundation in software development and platforms, enabling you to engage deeply with engineering teams while safeguarding the user experience. You will help close the gap between business requirements, product design, and engineering execution, ensuring that QA testing is both comprehensive and aligned with real-world scenarios. 

Key Responsibilities : 

• Requirement Gathering & Validation: Translate business objectives into functional requirements and user stories; validate requirements against technical feasibility.
• User Journey Mapping: Design and document user flows and process maps across mobile and web platforms to identify friction points or missing touchpoints.
• System & Process Analysis: Identify dependencies between systems, integrations, and data flows, ensuring that all edge cases are accounted for.
• Collaboration with Engineering: Partner with developers to ensure requirements are technically sound, testable, and aligned with the software development lifecycle.
• Support QA & UAT: Collaborate with QA engineers to design test scenarios; support UAT by validating end-to-end user journeys against business needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process inefficiencies or platform gaps and recommend improvements for scalability and automation. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or hybrid BA/QA in a software environment.
• Background in software development, platforms, and APIs; ability to read and understand technical specifications.
• Proven experience mapping user journeys, workflows, and system dependencies.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, product requirements documentation, and backlog management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
