Role Overview : You will be building and testing a cost-effective motion capture device to record manual worker movement, and getting that footage from device to server in a clean, reliable way. You'll be working hands-on from day one. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and recommend the best affordable hardware to capture manual worker movement (budget RM1,000 per device)
• Set up and test the chosen capture device in real working conditions
• Build a data transfer pipeline — from device to Troopers server via WiFi or SD card
• Implement basic data anonymisation on footage before it leaves our hands
• Work with the ML Data team member to ensure footage is in a usable format
• Document what works and what doesn't — clearly enough that someone else can follow it
• Present findings at Month 2 and Month 4 milestone reviews

Job Requirements

 Qualifications: 

• Studying or self-taught in electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field
• Has tinkered with hardware before — Raspberry Pi, Arduino, cameras, or similar
• Comfortable working independently and figuring things out without a full playbook
• Familiar with basic networking concepts (WiFi, file transfer, cloud storage)
• Uses AI tools naturally as part of how you work

Additional Advantages:

• Experience with video capture or streaming tools
• Knows what an API is and has used one before
• Has built any kind of end-to-end system, however small
