<h2 class="job-details__description-header text-color-secondary font-family-secondary" data-bind="i18n: 'job-details.job-description-title'">Job Description</h2>  <div class="job-details__description-content basic-formatter" data-bind="html: pageData().job.description">Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul> <li>Ensure approved materials are used, and correct methods and workmanship are adopted by the Contractor.</li> <li>Ensure works are carried out as per the Construction Drawings for the correct dimensions, levels, locations, etc.</li> <li>Inspect works on the date and time as per the Contractor’s Request for Inspection (RFI).</li> <li>Witness testing of all materials and work done on the date and time as per the Contractor’s Request for Inspection (RFI).</li> <li>Take notes of the site instructions and any other relevant directives on the drawings used in the inspection, to ensure that they are taken into account.</li> <li>Prepare a written list of any points that may require attention, in concurrence with the Assistant Resident Engineer, where the Contractor has requested the inspection.</li> <li>Re-inspect works that have been rectified before the subsequent works are permitted to be carried out.</li> <li>Inform the Assistant Resident Engineer should the Contractor fail to comply with the Specifications and Construction Drawings and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li> <li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Resident Engineer.</li> </ul> &nbsp; Requirements <ul> <li>Diploma in civil engineering or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years of proven working experience in construction site supervision, ideally in road and bridge projects.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certified Inspector of Works (registered under the Board of Engineers Malaysia).</li> <li>Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality assurance processes.</li> <li>Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards.</li> </ul></div>
