Job Summary

We’re looking for a Junior AI Solutions Engineer who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. At Academy of AI, you’ll work closely with a team of makers, builders, and problem-solvers on projects that bring the power of AI to real-world applications. This role is perfect for someone who’s hungry to learn, eager to get their hands dirty with different technologies, and passionate about building tools that make a real impact.

You won’t just be writing backend code—you’ll be part of a team that experiments, prototypes, and ships. Whether it’s integrating a new AI model, automating a workflow, or optimizing our backend infrastructure, you’ll be right there making it happen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in Backend Development: Collaborate with the product engineering team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for AI-driven software solutions. You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code following industry best practices.
• Support Product Engineering Team: Provide crucial technical support by troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues. You will also assist in the integration and optimization of AI models within our existing software systems.
• Gain Deep Understanding of Software Development Fundamentals: Engage in continuous learning to master software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. You will actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions to enhance your coding abilities.
• Collaborate with Relevant Stakeholders for AI Development: Work closely with data scientists, AI researchers, and other key stakeholders to develop, optimize, and integrate AI-driven products, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Documentation and Agile Participation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for software development processes, backend systems, and AI model integrations. You will also be an active participant in our agile development practices, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency with React and automation tools.
• Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles.
• Excellent communication skills and a high degree of coachability.
• A genuine passion for problem-solving and a collaborative spirit.
