Job Title: Senior AS400 Developer (COBOL)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior ATM Core Banking Developer to design, develop, and maintain ATM host applications within a core banking environment. The role focuses on supporting customer self-service ATM systems running on AS400/DB2 platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL 400 and hands-on experience in ATM transaction processing systems, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability of banking services.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ATM Host applications on AS400 platform
Develop and enhance COBOL 400 programs for ATM transaction processing
Support end-to-end ATM functionalities including withdrawals, deposits, balance inquiries, and fund transfers
Work with DB2 databases for data processing and integration
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in ATM systems
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver enhancements and fixes
Participate in system testing, deployment, and post-production support
Ensure compliance with banking security standards and transaction integrity
Maintain technical documentation and support SDLC processes

Required Skills:
6-9 years of experience in core banking or ATM-related development
Strong hands-on experience in COBOL 400 (mandatory)
Experience working on AS400 (IBM iSeries) environment
Good knowledge of DB2 database on AS400
Strong understanding of ATM (Automated Teller Machine) systems and customer self-service banking
Experience in production support and incident resolution
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices in AS400 environments
Knowledge of ALDON or similar deployment automation tools
Understanding of encryption and security protocols in banking systems
Exposure to core banking transaction processing systems
Familiarity with change management and release processes
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
