Their role is crucial in mitigating risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational effectiveness through framework design and strategic approaches. The assurance process is in place as an independent reviewer and assessor across all technology projects against the mandatory standards.This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of integrity of products or services, ensuring that governance framework is adhered to, and driving continuous improvement across the entire organization.Job Responsibilities:1. Governance Framework and Development<ul><li>Develop and implement the Technology Governance &amp; Assurance framework, and procedures across AIA MY and respective portfolios.</li><li>Ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal best practices.</li><li>Continuously review and update governance processes to ensure relevance and effectiveness at an organization / enterprise level.</li><li>Assist in ensuring that applicable policies and procedures are defined across all Portfolios.</li></ul>2. Agile Delivery Governance &amp; Assurance<ul><li>Ensure delivery conformance to the governed standards, policy and agile methodology.</li><li>Implement mitigation strategies and lead audits to assess delivery effectiveness based on the defined agile methodology</li><li>Provide strategic solutions across all technology platforms and technology delivery life cycle based on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards</li><li>Function as an independent assurance team to provide feedback and analysis to senior stakeholders</li><li>Influence and a change catalyst to respective portfolio to ensure agile and delivery methodology are adhere to base on the enterprise standards and framework defined.</li><li>To advice and collaborate with portfolio delivery teams on best practices and methods to enhance their delivery effectiveness and communication gap</li></ul>3. Compliance and Risk Management<ul><li>Ensure that governances processes comply with regulatory, legal, and contractual obligations or documented strategy.</li><li>Identify and assess potential risks related to quality and governance across Portfolios and supporting technology teams.</li><li>Ensures that defined technology framework, and guidelines are followed across teams, identifying areas of non-compliance proactively and highlighting it to the team as well as senior stakeholder levels.</li><li>Track and update quality metrics to monitor overall quality performance.</li><li>Identify vulnerabilities and oversee security risk mitigation</li></ul>4. IT Controls and Assurance<ul><li>Set and enforce high quality IT control standards across the Technology teams</li><li>Promote best practices in software and product testing, ensuring that testing methodologies meet industry benchmarks.</li><li>Evaluate IT systems, applications and processes for security and reliability</li><li>Ensure coherence to data protection policies and best practices</li><li>Ensure best practices in software development, change management and IT infrastructure</li><li>Recommend enhancements in IT service management and DEVOPS practices.</li><li>Assess or perform gap assessment as well as improve on IT operational processes and efficiency</li><li>Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in quality processes and tools.</li></ul>5. Team Leadership and Collaboration<ul><li>Manage, coach and/or mentor Technology teams by leadership, trainings, providing strategic solution and professional advice as well as instilling best practices</li><li>Collaborate with cross functional teams including development, operations, and business units to ensure governance framework is integrated into all stages of the project or delivery life cycle.</li><li>Act as a point of escalation for technology governance and assurance issues</li></ul>6. Reporting &amp; Communication<ul><li>Provide regular reports on technology assurance and performance, including key metrics, compliance issues, and improvement initiatives.</li><li>Communicate governance updates, risks and action plans to senior management and stakeholders.</li><li>Foster transparency and accountability within technology teams regarding adherence to the defined technology framework</li></ul>7. Audit and Review<ul><li>Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with governance policies and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide assurance on IT controls. (e.g. providing documentation and responses to audit findings)</li><li>Implement corrective actions and ensure proper IT controls are in place and effective based on audit outcomes.</li></ul>8. Technology and Tools Management<ul><li>Select and manage tools that support governance, quality management and testing processes.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending tools that improve governance and efficiency.</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Graduate with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, </li><li>Information Technology, Business Management or a related field. </li><li>A Master’s degree is a plus. </li><li>&gt; 8+ years of experience in Technology Risk, Compliance, </li><li>Governance, Control &amp; Audit. With at least 3 - 5 years in a </li><li>technical role such as Development, Project Management, </li><li>Scrum Master, Test Manager and/or Delivery role is a plus. </li><li>Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and </li><li>compliance frameworks</li><li>Experience with tools such as JIRA, PowerBI, Confluence, Azure </li><li>Devops, Bitbucket, and/or any other development or testing tools </li><li>in the market. </li><li>Experience with document management and reporting is </li><li>beneficial.</li><li>Good Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.</li><li>Strong organization skills, process methodologies, strategic </li><li>thinking and attention to detail in relation to the best practices to </li><li>be implemented. </li><li>Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards relevant to </li><li>organization is a plus.</li><li>In dept knowledge of quality processes and compliance </li><li>standards, testing methodologies and governance models </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Project management and process improvement.</li><li>An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality.</li><li>Consistently produces high quality work.</li></ul>Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.You must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
