ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Managing Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the delivery of end-to-end technology implementation projects. You’ll manage a team of consultants and analysts, orchestrate project execution, and serve as the trusted advisor to clients navigating digital transformation.

This role blends strategic thinking, project leadership, and hands-on delivery. You’ll bring together people, process, and technology to create real business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management

• Lead multiple client projects through the full lifecycle — from scoping and planning to implementation, testing, and post-launch support.
• Develop and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to keep delivery on track.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards through structured testing, documentation, and validation processes.
• Manage risks proactively and maintain clear, transparent reporting for internal and client stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Build, mentor, and manage cross-functional project teams consisting of analysts, consultants, and technical specialists.
• Create a collaborative environment that promotes accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
• Provide guidance and performance feedback to nurture professional growth within the team.
• Foster effective communication across internal departments and client teams to ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the main point of contact and strategic advisor to clients throughout project delivery.
• Develop strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and value creation.
• Manage client expectations, resolve issues proactively, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
• Represent the company professionally in presentations, progress reviews, and post-implementation evaluations.

Technical Expertise and Innovation

• Stay ahead of technology trends in ERP, RPA, AI, analytics, and mobile platforms.
• Translate complex client needs into practical and scalable technology solutions.
• Recommend innovative approaches and tools to improve solution delivery and business performance.
• Support pre-sales activities where technical and project management expertise adds value.

Job Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have

• Proven experience leading end-to-end software implementation projects (ERP, RPA, analytics, or similar).
• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering project documentation, reports, and client presentations.
• Up-to-date understanding of digital transformation, business software, and data-driven decision-making.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Good To Have

• Exposure to SME business environments or specific industry practices.
• Working proficiency in English, Malay, and/or Chinese.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting processes.
• Project management certification is an added advantage.
