THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a leading advisory firm based in Australia, providing tailored financial solutions to individuals, businesses, and organizations. With a strong focus on building lasting relationships, the company offers expertise across accounting, wealth management, business advisory, and financial planning. Known for their client-centric approach and collaborative culture, the organization is committed to delivering high-quality service and helping clients achieve their financial goals with confidence.

As part of their continued growth, they were looking to expand their team in Malaysia with 2 Paraplanner to support their wealth advisory operations.

This position is a remote opportunity - work hours are 6am to 3pm, KL time.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the Financials’ advisers in developing financial strategies and preparing advice documents (e.g., SOAs, ROAs).
  • Prepare annual review packs and assist in delivering scheduled client reviews and ongoing service commitments.
  • Maintain accurate client data and documentation using XPLAN and NetSuite systems.
  • Conduct product comparisons and assist in research to support financial recommendations.
  • Ensure all advice and documentation complies with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and support the wealth management team with day-to-day operations.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong English communication skills  both in written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn Australian financial planning, superannuation, tax, and insurance systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with XPLAN or financial planning software is a plus.
