Job Description

Concept Art and Design:

• Develop and refine concept art, character designs, and environment illustrations aligned with the game's theme and style.
• Produce storyboards, mood boards, and visual prototypes.

Asset Creation:

• Create polished 2D assets including characters, props, backgrounds, UI elements, and animations.
• Ensure all assets meet technical and artistic requirements for game integration.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with game designers, programmers, and project managers to ensure visual elements align with gameplay and technical specifications.
• Provide feedback and collaborate with external vendors or freelance artists when needed.

Art Direction:

• Define and maintain the visual style and quality standards for projects.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and provide creative solutions for design challenges.

Mentorship and Leadership:

• Guide and mentor junior artists, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.
• Review and approve the work of team members to ensure consistency and excellence.

Optimization and Technical Implementation:

• Ensure assets are optimized for performance across platforms without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with developers to implement visual elements seamlessly into the game engine.

Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience creating art in the game industry.
• Familiarity with creating 2D sprites, including animated sprites and particle effects.
• Ability to create concept art quickly to convey ideas effectively.
• Good understanding of shaders and textures.
• Basic knowledge of Unity and the ability to implement art assets directly in the engine.
