About the role
Reporting to the Service Manager, this full-time Service Engineer (Anelva) role at Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is based in Kulim, Kedah. As a key member of the service team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and maintenance services for Anelva semiconductor equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on Anelva semiconductor equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Provide on-site technical support and training to customers
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements
- Support the team in managing spare parts inventory and logistics
Job Requirements
What we're looking for
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 3-5 years of experience as a service engineer in the semiconductor industry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
- Proficiency in Japanese (speaking) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
