Job Description

Fundraising & Investor Compliance

  • Manage investor onboarding, compliance filings and KYC/AML documentation (critical for HNWI in multiple jurisdictions).
  • Prepare fund legal documentation, term sheets, and investor agreements.
  • Track investor capital commitments and drawdowns.
  • Coordinate with external tax and legal counsel on multi-jurisdictional compliance (EU, APAC, US).
  • Prepare investor reporting packages (quarterly/annual performance, fund updates).
  • Maintain cap tables and investor records.

Tax & Regulatory Management

  • Track tax obligations across Malaysia, Europe, and US jurisdictions.
  • Prepare tax compliance documentation for international fund structures.
  • Coordinate with external accountants on filing requirements.
  • Set up and maintain corporate project structure.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting project industries and securities.

Deal & Project Financial Management

  • Support deals through 3 statement financial modeling and valuation.
  • Lead commercial DD coupled with proactive communication towards all involved stakeholders.
  • Manage financial reporting, management accounts and controls.
  • Maintain project-level P&L and cost tracking.
  • Prepare financial summaries for principal review.

Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain organized investor files, data room and project documentation.
  • Implement financial management systems for projects (accounting software, fund administration).
  • Develop automation templates for recurring reporting and compliance items.

Job Requirements

  • Accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.
  • Fundraising/fund administration experience.
  • M&A/ Transaction & Commercial DD experience.
  • Understanding of multi-jurisdictional tax and compliance.
  • Familiarity with investor relations and fund documentation.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Attention to detail and documentation discipline.
