They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.</p> <strong>What You’ll Do:</strong> <ul> <li>Receive, review, and complete IT equipment installation, relocation and decommission requests within timeframes and to industry standards.</li> <li>Provide problem-solving support. This includes server reboots, backups, visual inspections, etc.</li> <li>Escort third-party engineers and ensure their compliance with the site standards.</li> <li>Receive, respond, and assign break and fix tickets within the agreed timeframe or escalate if they cannot be resolved.</li> <li>Ensure that on-site documentation including work-related standard operating procedures are created, reviewed &amp; updated whenever there is an instruction or process change.</li> <li>Receive, assess, and complete patching and de-patching requests.</li> <li>Develop a good working relationship with all members of staff and client representatives.</li> <li>Provision and fault diagnosis and rectification of network channel connectivity, installation, relocation &amp; decommissioning of IT equipment, and general engineering maintenance &amp; housekeeping of the critical services.</li> <li>Ensure a safe and healthy working environment while maintaining a professional image.</li> <li>Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.</li> <li>Impact through clearly defined duties, and methods and tasks are described in detail.</li> <li>Deliver own output by following defined procedures / processes under close supervision and guidance.</li> </ul> <strong>What You’ll Need:</strong> <ul> <li>Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.</li> <li>Must meet the physical requirements of this role.</li> <li>Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.</li> <li>Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.</li> <li>Basic math skills.
