ROLE OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation for CTOS businesses, specifically targeting Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This role requires a hands-on approach to campaign planning and execution, content creation, stakeholder management, and event planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategies & Execution
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to promote CTOS Credit Manager and other SME-focused solutions.
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns, with a focus on digital touchpoints (social media, email marketing, paid media), offline and event platforms.
- Create impactful marketing materials, including sales tools (e.g. sales presentation decks, brochures), product content, digital advertisements, eDMs, presentations, content for social media and websites/digital assets.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities, refine strategies and messaging.
- Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to support new product launches and marketing initiatives.
Content & Communications
- Craft insightful, engaging and relevant content tailored to SMEs, including articles, case studies, infographics, visual content and thought leadership pieces.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to formulate and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence, drive engagement and content performance across social media and digital touchpoints.
- Manage EDM campaigns for both acquisition and nurture existing clients, optimising for engagement and conversion.
- Post directly on social media platforms when required, and ensure timely, accurate, and brand-aligned publishing.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and branding across all communications.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, Digital Marketing, Communications, Commercial, Product and Customer Experience, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Manage external agencies to deliver on time and on brief—creative, digital performance, media buying, event organisers and public relations.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with SME associations, business networks, and relevant industry networks/groups to enhance visibility.
- Lead and coach junior team members to ensure high performance, accountability and professional growth.
- Own and lead marketing planning, review and reporting within the SME segment, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Events & Symposiums
- Plan, coordinate, and execute SME events, webinars, thought leadership forums and symposiums.
- Develop event marketing strategies to maximise reach, sign-ups / registrations, drive attendance and engagement.
- Manage full event lifecycle from ideation, planning, and executing event logistics, and post-event follow-ups.
Budgeting, Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Monitor and manage marketing budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance with strong command of:
- Marketing leads reports (lead generation and funnel performance)
- Google Analytics reports (web traffic, engagement, conversion tracking)
- EDM reports (open rates, CTR, engagement trends)
- Social media performance reports (reach, engagement, growth metrics)
- Translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in preparing insightful presentations and performance report updates to internal stakeholders, to showcase marketing effectiveness and impact.
