At Faradays Energy, we are pioneering the future of clean tech. We have developed FELECTRON, an innovative, cutting-edge hydrogen-based electricity generator designed to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team, help optimize FELECTRON, and gain real-world experience in the booming green technology sector. 

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Embedded System Basics: Hands-on experience with microcontroller platforms and basic programming proficiency in C/C++.
• Core Technical Knowledge: A solid grasp of AC/DC power systems, power electronics (inverters/converters), and basic electrical components. 

Job Requirements

Responsibilities/Job Scope

Design & Development

• Assist in creating circuit schematics and simple PCB prototypes under guidance from senior engineers.
• Support sizing and selection of electrical components for small power systems and modules.

Testing & Field Support

• Help set up and run lab tests, record measurements, and troubleshoot faults during prototypes and site visits.
• Work with the team on commissioning tasks and basic on-site wiring or instrumentation support.

Documentation & Safety

• Prepare clear test reports, wiring diagrams, and build notes for reuse by the engineering team.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain tidy, compliant lab and field workspaces.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Academic projects or internship experience in circuitry, power systems, or prototyping is a plus; 0 years professional eexperience is needed.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic circuit analysis and familiarity with power systems concepts.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering tools.
• Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or similar, and basic CAD or PCB tools like AutoCAD, KiCad, or Eagle.

• Curious mindset with willingness to learn and take direction from mentors.
• Clear communication, good teamwork, and attention to detail on safety and communication.
